Kadiköy Coastal Rearangement
In the arrangement of the coast, it was first divided into 3 main themes, depending on the work and population situation carried out on the streets here.These roads connects the landscape to Haydarpasha station and the pier. The area in the south is a worker-and student-intensive area, there are two main streets and a pier, so the square and the park for families are proposed here.In the north of this area, there is a population with a middle age, and trade areas are intense.
Because of this, walking routes and fishing pier were recommended to this point. A large café & bistro is suggested to the end of this area. In the northern part of the site, the axis of the hospital occupies a certain rate in this area. In addition, car park areas are recommended road sides.That create opportunities for passers-by to stop and spend time here.In this way, visual contact between roads and sea was provided.
Since this area is at the intersection of 2 important axes, a square and a children’s park were proposed here , considering the status of the population here.
For the people who came for fishing, a pier towards the sea is proposed and placed far from the road and walking areas.
In order to increase the movement in this area and increase the visuality, a skateboard track and open stage for street performers are proposed to this area.

Kadikoy is the area of distribution and assembly point between Anatolian and European sides. Hence , Kadiköy is surrounded by a transportation network, but the dense traffic axes between the coast and the city texture cut off the relationship between the coast and the city. At this point,transportation axes in this area has been moved to the project area.
