Mosque Complex
Hexagonal and triangular forms in the pattern has been tried to be reflected in the design phase of the project. Especially, library and gift shop masses reflects pattern. The mosque was placed in the middle of the area and the courtyard opens to the central part of the site. This part could be used as the area where the people would circulate through the last congregation area.
In the mosque part, cork flooring , tree-shaped columns were used as the load-bearing system. In addition, a special area for womens with restricted visibility was created in the mosque. The different heights on the ceiling of the mosque were thought to provide the highest natural light for the mosque.
The eastern part of the site is heavily massed with the functions that condolence area , consultation area or individual worship. The condolence area is supported by the kitchen on the lower floor and these functions are connected with the elevator. In the case of funerals with high participation, the multi-purpose room located directly opposite side to the condolence area was created to meet the human demand. This fuction is also considered suitable for the Kuran festivals , mevlids and some presentation meetings.

In this project i tried different type of creation process. So that, the shaping of the masses in the project and deciding their orientation have developed with the design and hegzogonal pattern sheet. Hexagonal and triangular forms in the pattern has been tried to be reflected in the design phase of the project.Especially, library and gift shop where stands for the mass reflects the pattern's form.
